El 908 se aprovechará de la experiencia acumulada en los vehículos de WRC, con una abundante dotación de electrónica, en particular a nivel de los diferenciales. Se beneficiará igualmente de la experiencia de Bosch que proporcionará lo esencial de los componentes y que desarrollará el “sistema vehículo” sobre la base de las especificaciones proporcionadas por Peugeot Sport. De este modo, se esperan alcanzar buenas prestaciones en términos de “control de la tracción”, función fundamental para controlar el par motor, conservando mejor los neumáticos Michelin.
